Overview
The Match Fees feature allows Webmasters and Team Admins to request payment for a specific match fee.
When allocating players selected for a game, the admin can select a match fee variant (e.g. starter or substitute).

Manage match fees on a fixture
Using the new Pitchero Club app
Step-by-step guide:
- Load the Pitchero Club app on your phone
- Tap 'Matches' towards the top of the screen
- Tap on the team's fixture
- Tap 'Match Fees' towards the top of the screen
- Tap 'Use Team Selection'
- If you have not selected a team for the match, you can manually add players to create the match fee assignments (or use a team selection from the previous game).
- View the players selecgted and tap to change the match fee option is needed (e.g. 'Starter' to 'Substitute' or 'Senior player' to 'Student'
- The total amount expected to be collected from the selected players will show at the top of the screen.
- Tap 'Confirm' to create the match fee assignments and send the match fee prompt.
Top Tip:
The system will automatically prompt the member to pay the outstanding match fee(s) if they haven't paid within 72 hours of the initial payment request.
Webmasters (with access to Match Fees) and Team Admins can manually prompt the member to complete payment any time via the club admin dashboard or the Pitchero Club app.
Using the legacy Pitchero Manager app
Step-by-step guide:
- Load the Pitchero Manager app on your iOS or Android device
- Tap on a fixture
- Tap 'Match Fees'
- Tap 'Use Team Selection'
- If you have not selected a team for the match, you can manually add players yourself. You may also be shown an option to use a team selection from a previous game if available
- View the players selected and tap to change the match fee option if needed (e.g. 'Starter' or 'Substitute'
- Tap 'Send' to prompt the players to pay
The members will receive a prompt the complete the match fee(s). The member can complete the payment via the Pitchero Club app or via their account using a web browser.
Top Tip:
The system will automatically prompt the member to pay the outstanding match fee(s) if they haven't paid within 72 hours of the initial payment request.

Prompt players for payment
The section above covers creating the match fee assignments and sending an initial payment request.
An automated payment reminder will be sent to members with outstanding fees to pay 72 hours after the initial payment request was sent.
This section covers sending a follow-up payment request to any unpaid match fees on the fixture.
Using the new Pitchero Club app
Step-by-step guide:
- Load the Pitchero Club app on your phone
- Tap 'Matches' towards the top of the screen
- Tap on the team's fixture
- Tap 'Match Fees' towards the top of the screen
- Tap on a player's name
- Tap 'Request'
The member will receive a prompt to complete their match fee(s) to the club. The prompt can be sent as a push notification to the member's Pitchero Club app and/or an email to their inbox. This is based on the member's own notification preferences.
Top Tip:
Webmasters with access to the Match Fees section in the club admin dashboard can also send a payment request in bulk to any unpaid match fee assignments across different teams and fixtures.

- See each player's payment value as green (paid) or red (not paid)
Using the legacy Pitchero Manager app
Step-by-step guide:
- Load the Pitchero Manager app
- Tap on a fixture
- Tap 'Match Fees'
- See each player's payment as 'Paid' or 'Unpaid'
Mark a manually collected payment
Using the new Pitchero Club app
Step-by-step guide:
- Load the Pitchero Club app on your phone
- Tap 'Matches' towards the top of the screen
- Tap on the team's fixture
- Tap 'Match Fees' towards the top of the screen
- Tap on the player's name
- Tap 'Paid Cash'
- Tap 'Confirm'
The member's match fee will change to paid.
Top Tip:
If you need to remove the member's manually recorded payment, follow the steps above up to 'Tap 'Paid Cash'' and tap 'Revert Cash'

Step-by-step guide:
- Load the Pitchero Manager app
- Tap on a fixture
- Tap 'Match Fees'
- Tap on a player's name
- Tap 'Paid cash'
Remove a member's match fee assignment
Using the new Pitchero Club app
Step-by-step guide:
- Load the Pitchero Club app on your phone
- Tap 'Matches' towards the top of the screen
- Tap on the team's fixture
- Tap 'Match Fees' towards the top of the screen
- Tap on the player's name
- Tap 'Delete'
- In the overlay, tap 'Delete' to confirm the action
Please Note:
A member's match fee assignment can be removed if the status is Not Paid (i.e. that the assignment hasn't been paid by the member via Stripe or cash). Click here for information on refunding a member's match fee.
A match fee assignment can be removed by a Webmaster with access to Teams, or a Team Admin of the team. There isn't a log showing which Webmaster/Team Admin removed a member's match fee assignment.
