Overview
Pitchero houses a comprehensive database with information from thousands of league competitions.
This means multiple teams can use the same fixtures saving team managers many hours each week. It also ensures vital consistency and accuracy across competitions.
Connect to a league or cup competition
Webmasters with full access to Teams, and Team Admins of the team, can connect their team(s) to their respective competition(s) via the club admin dashboard.
Step-by-step guide:
- Go to the club admin dashboard
- Click 'Teams' from the left-hand menu
- Click the team name from the sub-menu
- Click 'Competitions'
- Click 'Join competition' on the right-hand side
- Select a competition from the list of suggestions or search for your competition
-
Click 'Connect'
Once the team has been connected to the competition, any fixtures listed for that team should appear on the Fixtures & results page, ready for the admin to enter additional information and manage the fixture for their members.
Please note:
To update or edit the fixtures, results or table you must be a Division Admin of the division in our Competitions Database.
Division Admin access is open for the majority of competitions listed on Pitchero. The exceptions are:
- The competition is managed on the ECB's Play-Cricket.com system.
- The competition is managed by the League on Pitchero.
The competition isn’t available to connect to
Tip:
If your league competition is managed by the League on the ECB's Play-Cricket.com system, the league divisions should be available for your team to connect to before the start of the season.
Once connected, changes/updates to fixtures on Play-Cricket should be reflected on Pitchero within 24 hours. For more information, click here.
If your league (or league division) is missing, please email support@pitchero.com. Once it's part of our database, you can then apply to become a Division Admin (here's how).
This role will enable you to add, edit or remove teams and fixtures in a competition.
If you have trouble with this process, email support@pitchero.com with a CSV spreadsheet (see example) which lists the league's fixtures.
We can import the league's fixtures for you into our Competitions Database. However, this takes longer and must be formatted correctly.
The quickest way to add fixtures to a club website is to connect to a league competition and upload them yourself as a Division Admin.
