Overview

Pitchero supports league competitions supplied by the ECB's Play-Cricket.com. As part of the integration, we receive the following data:

  • League fixtures
  • League results
  • League tables
  • Match scorecards

In order to manually enter a full match scorecard for a fixture, you will need to ensure you have added your team selection as well as the opposition’s team sheet.

How to add a match scorecard

Step-by-step guide:

  • Go to the club control panel
  • Click 'Teams' from the left-hand menu
  • Select a team from the sub-menu
  • Click into the fixture you want to add a match scorecard for
  • Click 'Scorecard' from the top menu
  • Select either 'Use Play-Cricket scorecard' or 'Use your own'
  • If you use the Play-Cricket scorecard, the ECB's Play-Cricket.com league website should sync with the Pitchero platform within 24 hours

To have player stats show on team pages, you must add your own scorecard, as the Play-Cricket integration does not do this.

  • If opting for a manual scorecard, add match details including who won the toss and if the match was drawn.
  • Complete the batting scorecard for the innings such as how the batters were dismissed, by which player from the fielding team, then enter the batters' runs, and other statistics
  • Next, add in the bowling statistics for the innings. Click into the ‘Select Bowler’ drop-down and select the bowler, then enter the number of overs, maidens, runs, wickets, wides, and no balls for that bowler
  • Repeat the steps above for the second innings

How to delete a match scorecard
