Overview
Once you have created a product in, Webmasters with access to Shop and payments can change any of the product details in the club control panel before a member has purchased the product.
Once the product has been purchased by a member, you can update some of the details (e.g. product name, description and image).
Edit a product
Step-by-step guide:
- Go to your club control panel
- Click 'Shop and payments' from the left-hand menu
- Click 'Products' from the sub-menu
- Click on the product name
- Click 'Edit product'
Top tip:
Clubs can also create new product variants (e.g. replace an early bird membership offer with the full price product variant) in the club control panel.
On the Edit Product page, click 'Add another payment option'.
Daily product purchase reports
Webmasters with access to the Shop and payments area of the club admin dashboard can view products and manage payments collected online from members. But, rather than checking this on a daily basis in Pitchero, we can send a digest email every day confirming new purchases.
In order to receive the email, the member needs to have the Webmaster role with access to the Shop and payments area (so it's aligned with the persons that are able to check payments in the club admin dashboard).
The club can include any/all products within the Shop and payments area to be included in the email report.
Step-by-step guide to selecting an existing product to be included in the daily purchase report email:
- Go to your club admin dashboard
- Click 'Shop and payments' from the left-hand menu
- Click 'Products' from the sub-menu
- Click on the product name
- Click 'Edit product'
- Tick the 'Include this product on the Club Shop daily report' option
- A message should appear at the bottom of the screen to confirm the change
Please note:
Should the club wish to remove a product(s) from the daily purchase report email, complete the same steps as described above but deselect the option rather than select it.
Update the price of a product subscription
Step-by-step guide:
- Go to your club control panel
- Click 'Shop and payments' from the left-hand menu
- Click 'Products' from the sub-menu
- Click on the product name
- Click 'Edit product'
- Click the three dots of the product variant price under the payment options
- Click 'Edit'
- Enter the new price
- Click 'Update'
Members with an active subscription for this product will be notified of the price change, and the new subscription payment amount will take effect on the member's next payment date.
Please note:
The price of the product can only be changed on subscription-based products.
After the product has been purchased by a member, the price cannot be changed on a one-off or instalment-based products. Instead, the club would need to create a new product variant for the new price.
