This article covers creating one-off and recurring club events on your Pitchero Club website.

Add a single club event

Webmasters (with full access to Site Content) can create and manage club events via the club admin dashboard.

Club events show on the club's Calendar, in the News feed, and in members' schedules. The new post can be shared automatically with the club's social accounts (subject to the Webmaster's Social Sharing access, and the option selected while posting the club event).

Members with the Pitchero Club app with notifications enabled will be notified that a new event has been posted and can interact with the notification to view the event(s) on the app.

 

Step-by-step guide:

  • Go to the club admin dashboard
  • Click 'Site Content' from the left-hand menu
  • Click 'Events' from the sub-menu
  • Click 'Add Event' on the right-hand side of the page
  • Enter the event title and details
  • Enter the start and end date and time
  • Choose an image from your albums, the club's albums or a stock album
  • Click 'Save'

Top Tip:

We recommend that Event images be a scale of the 16:9 ratio.

Common resolutions in the 16:9 ratio are 1920 x 1080 pixels and 1280 x 720 pixels


     

    Add a recurring club event

    Webmasters (with full access to Site Content) can create and manage club events via the club admin dashboard.

    Club events show on the club's Calendar, in the News feed, and in members' schedules.

     

    Step-by-step guide:

    • Go to the club admin dashboard
    • Click 'Site Content' from the left-hand menu
    • Click 'Events' from the sub-menu
    • Click 'Add Event' from the right-hand side of the page
    • Enter the event name and details
    • Choose an image from your albums, the club's albums or a stock album
    • Enter the start and end date and time (for the first event only)
    • Tick ‘This is a recurring event
    • Enter the frequency of the recurring event
    • Enter the number of recurring events you wish to create
    • Click 'Save'

     

    Delete a club event

    Step-by-step guide:

    • Go to the club admin dashboard
    • Click 'Site Content' from the left-hand menu
    • Click 'Events' from the sub-menu
    • Locate the event you wish to delete
    • Click the spanner icon on the right-hand side of the page
    • Click 'Delete event'
    • If you wish to proceed, click 'OK'

    Once deleted, the club event cannot be recovered
