Overview
The Homepage Featured Content page allows the club to choose the types and order of content displays on the homepage.
Homepage Featured Content is managed by Webmasters with full access to the Site Content area of the club control panel.
Choosing what types of content shows
Step-by-step guide:
- Go to the club control panel
- Click 'Site Content' from the left-hand menu
- Click 'Homepage Content' sub-menu
- Click 'Show' or 'Hide' on the type of content you wish to show / not show
- The page will reload automatically
Promoting content
You can promote up to 10 different pieces of content in the Featured Content area of the homepage.
Step-by-step guide:
- Go to the club control panel
- Click 'Site Content' from the left-hand menu
- Click 'Homepage Content' sub-menu
- Locate your content you wish to promote
- Click 'Yes' to promote the specific content
- The page will reload automatically
To demote the content, click 'No' and the page will reload automatically.
Removing the promotion of the content does not remove the content from your Pitchero website altogether.
Re-ordering promoted content
Step-by-step guide:
- Go to the club control panel
- Click 'Site Content' from the left-hand menu
- Click 'Homepage Content' from the sub-menu
- Click the upward or downward arrow to change the order the posts display
- The page will reload automatically
Content which hasn't been promoted shows newest to oldest after the content you have promoted.
To change the order of the content in the Featured Content area, the content needs to have been promoted already.
