Weekly roundup email
This article covers the weekly roundup email sent automatically to members on your Pitchero Club website.
Please note:
There isn't a way to temporarily or permanently stop the Weekly Roundup email from being sent to the club's subscribed members. We actively encourage all clubs to continue posting great content. You can find lots of great ideas on our Blog.
Clubs on the Elite and Ultimate package can also customise the types of content are included in the email (e.g. exclude fixtures and results)

Overview
The Weekly Roundup email is a digest email sent out to subscribed members containing information added to the website in the previous 7 days, as well as upcoming fixtures and club events in the next 7 days.
For clubs on Free, the content of the Weekly Roundup email will include content relating to the club and the highest-ranked team only.
If your club has more than one team, the club should consider upgrading to the Standard or Pro package. For more details, head to the Packages area of your club admin dashboard.
Customising the weekly roundup email
Clubs on the Standard or Pro package can customise the content of the Weekly Roundup email.
These features include:
- Choose the type of content included
- Choose the day the email is sent to members
- Add a custom header to the email
- Add a sponsor to the footer of the email
Choose content types
Step-by-step guide:
- Go to your club admin dashboard
- Click 'Settings' from the left-hand menu
- Click 'Weekly roundup emails' from the sub-menu
- Click the 'Content to include' dropdown box, then select the type of content to include in the email
- Click 'Save' in the bottom right corner of the page
Choose the day the email is sent to members
Step-by-step guide:
- Go to your club admin dashboard
- Click 'Settings' from the left-hand menu
- Click 'Weekly roundup emails' from the sub-menu
- Click in the 'Emails to be sent on' dropdown
- Select a day
- Click 'Save' in the bottom right corner of the page
Please Note:
The email is generated to the club's subscribed members at approximately 8:30am of the selected day.
If you are trying to update the setting for the email to be sent on the same day, the change would need to be made before 8:30am of that day.
Add/change a custom header
Step-by-step guide:
- Go to your club admin dashboard
- Click 'Settings' from the left-hand menu
- Click 'Weekly roundup emails' from the sub-menu
- Click 'Add custom header'
- Choose an image from an existing photo album in your account, or upload a new image to a new/existing album
- The output of the header image is 600 pixels in width and 120 pixels in height
- Click 'Save' in the bottom right corner of the page
Top Tip:
To change the custom header:
- Click the spanner icon in the top right corner of the customer banner
- Click 'Change'
- Select a new image, or upload a new image to a new/existing album
- Click 'Save' in the bottom right corner of the page
Add/change sponsor in the email footer
Step-by-step guide:
- Go to your club admin dashboard
- Click 'Settings' from the left-hand menu
- Click 'Weekly roundup emails' from the sub-menu
- Click 'Add sponsor'
- In the overlay, select the drop down menu showing a list of the club's existing sponsors added to Pitchero
- Choose a sponsor from the dropdown and click 'Save' to close the overlay
- Click 'Save' in the bottom right corner of the page
Top Tip:
To change the sponsor in the email footer:
- Go to your club admin dashboard
- Click 'Settings' from the left-hand menu
- Click 'Weekly roundup emails' from the sub-menu
- Click the spanner icon next to the existing sponsor
- Click 'Change'
- Choose another sponsor from the drop-down menu
- Click 'Save' to close the overlay
- Click 'Save' in the bottom right corner page
Unsubscribe from receiving the weekly roundup email
Step-by-step guide:
- Log into your 'Pitchero Account'
- Click the 'Profile Icon' at the top right of the page
- Click 'Settings'
- Click 'Email Preferences'
- Scroll down to 'Club weekly roundups'
- Click 'Unsubscribe' on the row of the Club you wish to no longer receive roundup emails from
