Manage basic information
Step-by-step guide:
- Go to the club admin dashboard and click from the 'Teams' on the left-hand side of the page
- Click the team name from the sub-menu
- Click 'Settings' across the top of the page
- Make the changes
- Click the green 'Save changes' button at the bottom of the page
Basic information includes the team name, section, age group, gender and whether the team is live or hidden on the website.
Manage match periods
By default, match periods are set as per your club's chosen sport.
| Football | 2x 45 minute periods |
| Rugby union | 2x 40 minute periods |
| Rugby league | 2x 40 minute periods |
| Hockey | 2x 35 minute periods |
| Netball | 4x 15 minute periods |
| Lacrosse | 4x 15 minute periods |
Please note:
Currently, there are no default periods for a fixture in cricket.
If the player/parent at a cricket club has synced their schedule with their external calendar app, the end time of the fixture will show as 00:00 the following day.
You can change the default match period for your team in the club admin dashboard.
Step-by-step guide:
- Go to the club admin dashboard and click from the 'Teams' on the left-hand side of the page
- Click the team name from the sub-menu
- Click 'Settings' towards the centre of the page
- Scroll down to the Fixture settings section
- Click 'Manage Periods'
- Enter the new match period (format in MM:SS)
- Click the green 'Add' button next to the new match period
- Repeat for any other default periods for the team
You can also change the match periods for an individual fixture page (e.g. a cup fixture with 2x periods of 45 minutes and 2x periods of 15 minutes extra time).
Manage privacy settings
Step-by-step guide:
- Go to the club admin dashboard and click from the 'Teams' on the left-hand side of the page
- Click the team name from the sub-menu
- Click 'Settings' towards the centre of the page
- Scroll down to the Privacy settings section on the page
- Click 'Public' or 'Private' on the type of content:
- Player profiles & photos
- Team selections
- Collated team statistics
- Click 'On' or 'Off' on the type of content:
- Match centre statistics
- Training sessions
- Click the green 'Save settings' button at the bottom of the page
Top Tip:

Public allows all visitors to the website to see the information.

Private allows only authorised members on the website to see the information.
- On allows all visitors on the website to see the information.
- Off doesn't allow any visitor/member on the website to see the information.
Manage team display settings
Step-by-step guide:
- Go to the club admin dashboard and click from the 'Teams' on the left-hand side of the page
- Click the team name from the sub-menu
- Click 'Settings' towards the centre of the page
- Scroll down to the Team Display settings section on the page
- Click 'On' or 'Off' on the type of content:
- Matches
- Table
- Squad
- Stats
- Reports
- Click the green 'Save settings' button at the bottom of the page
Please Note:
Setting a team display option to Off will also prevent the content from showing on other pages of the website.
Manage team homepage information
Step-by-step guide:
- Go to the club admin dashboard and click from the 'Teams' on the left-hand side of the page
- Click the team name from the sub-menu
- Click 'Homepage' towards the centre of the page
- Enter the team homepage details
- Page title
- Team description
- Name of players pictured
- Click the green 'Save' button at the bottom of the page
The team photo
September 2026 Update:
The team homepage has been updated to provide a cleaner and more professional online presence, showing the team's photo and description more prominently.
If your team already has a team photo and description, this will be used on the new page design, though the existing team photo may not be optimal for the new layout.
The output of the photo is now 2500 pixels in width and 1064 pixels in height or a ratio of 2:35:1 (2.35 wider than that it is long). The image should have sufficient padding at the around the edges to avoid cropping.
The team photo could be traditional (the team in a line(s) in front of the stand/clubhouse) or dynamic of a game, training or celebration.

Step-by-step guide:
- Go to the club admin dashboard and click from the 'Teams' on the left-hand side of the page
- Click the team name from the sub-menu
- Click 'Homepage' towards the centre of the page
- Click the '+' icon
- Choose an image from an existing album or upload the team photo from your device to an album
- Click the green 'Save' button at the bottom of the page

Recommended image dimensions

Using AI to update your existing team photo
If your current team photo doesn't fit the recommended dimensions, you may not need to retake it. AI image tools can help resize the existing photo and expand the background where necessary.
Here's a prompt you can use with AI:
"Using the photo uploaded, please resize it to the required dimensions of 2500 pixels in width and 1064 pixels in height while expanding the background rather than stretching the image or cropping any players out."
Always check the finished image carefully before uploading it to Pitchero (particularly faces, logos, and sponsors in the image edited using AI).
Replace the existing team photo
Step-by-step guide:
- Go to the club admin dashboard and click from the 'Teams' on the left-hand side of the page
- Click the team name from the sub-menu
- Click 'Homepage' towards the centre of the page
- Click the bin icon in the top right corner of the existing team photo
- Click the '+' icon
- Choose an image from an existing album or upload the team photo from your device to an album
- Click the green 'Save' button at the bottom of the page
