Players, parents and guardians can set/update their availability directly through the Pitchero Club app or using a web browser, making it easier for team admins to plan ahead, organise squads and reduce the amount of manual chasing required before a match or session. Once availability has been submitted, team admins can quickly view who is available, unavailable or yet to respond. This provides a clear overview of player numbers and helps to make informed decisions when selecting teams. Player Availability is especially useful for busy clubs managing multiple teams, age groups and fixtures each week. By keeping availability in one place, Pitchero helps improve communication between players, parents and coaches, while saving volunteers valuable time. --- ### View player availability Step-by-step guide: - Go to the club admin dashboard - Click '**Teams'** from the left-hand menu - Click '**Availability'** from the sub-menu - The next four fixture dates will display, along with the status of players' availability. You can filter members by role, team, payment product or a custom field. **Webmasters** with full access to the ‘Teams’ section will see players from all teams in their filter **Team Admins** will only see the players from their own team - To view further ahead than the next four fixtures, click the blue arrow next to the fourth fixture on the far-right of the page - You can also filter results by player name, position or team Players can mark their availability status as one of three options: - Available - Unavailable - Not Sure **Please note**: Player Availability is used to track the availability of members with the Player role. Player Availability is not available for members with the Coach role (unless they also have the Player role of the team(s). --- ### Prompt players for their availability Step-by-step guide: - Go to the club admin dashboard - Click '**Teams'** from the left-hand menu - Select a team from the sub-menu - Next to a specific fixture, click on the '**Match Centre**' button in grey - Click '**Team Selection**' from the top-menu - To manually send prompts to players about availability, scroll to the bottom of the page and click '**Send Availability Prompts**' in grey - Filter members by: - Role - Team - Availability - Other field - Payment product - Select players to notify by ticking individual names or '**Email & Push**' to select all - Click '**Send Notifications**' --- ### Mark a player's availability manually Step-by-step guide: - Go to the club admin dashboard - Click '**Teams'** from the left-hand menu - Click '**Availability'** from the sub-menu - Search for the player in the filter box - Click on the availability status next to the relevant fixture - In the player record, choose availability from the drop-down menu - Add (optional) comments in the field - Click '**Save**' --- ### Troubleshooting This section covers common troubleshooting queries: - Player availability for the day vs event. - Currently, player availability is set for the day, not the specific fixture or training session. - Event-based availability is currently in BETA and should be available to all clubs and users soon. - Player availability status has been removed from Pitchero. - Players, their parents, and admins can set/update a player's availability status any time on Pitchero (before the fixture/training session date). - If the only fixture/training session on that date has been deleted from Pitchero, players' availability status for that date is removed too. - To prevent this from happening, the admin could mark the fixture/training session as cancelled instead of deleting the fixture/training session from Pitchero. --- ### Related articles Thanks for taking a look at this article, we hope that you found it useful.
