This article covers managing photo albums in your Pitchero account, and which clubs and leagues they are shared with.

Upload a new photo album to my account

Step-by-step guide:

  • Login to Pitchero
  • Click your profile image in the top right corner of the screen
  • Click 'Settings' in the side-bar
  • Click 'Videos & Photos'
  • Hover over green 'Upload Videos & Photos' button
  • Click ‘Upload Photos’
  • Click ‘Create a new album
  • Enter the album name
  • Select a sorting method:
    • Date - in the order they were taken
    • Filename - in alphabetical order
    • Custom - I’ll order the images myself
    • Click ‘Choose files
    • Select your photos
    • Click ‘Save

    Upload photos to an existing album in my account

    Step-by-step guide:

    • Login to Pitchero
    • Click your profile image in the top right corner of the screen
    • Click 'Settings' in the side-bar
    • Click 'Videos & Photos'
    • Hover over green 'Upload Videos & Photos' button
    • Click ‘Upload Photos’
    • Click 'Add to an existing album’
    • Select an album from the drop-down menu
    • Click the 'Choose Files'
    • Add the photos
    • Click 'Save'

    Select the order of photos in the album

    Step-by-step guide:

    • Login to Pitchero
    • Click your profile image in the top right corner of the screen
    • Click 'Settings' in the side-bar
    • Click 'Videos & Photos'
    • Click on the album name
    • In the Sorting method options, click 'Custom - I'll order the images myself'
    • Click 'Save'
    • Drag and drop the images into the order you wish
    • Click 'Save'

      Share a photo album with a club

      Step-by-step guide:

      • Login to Pitchero
      • Click your profile image in the top right corner of the screen
      • Click 'Settings' in the side-bar
      • Click 'Videos & Photos' from the top menu
      • Click on the album name
      • Click ‘Choose a website to share with
      • Select the club to share the album with and
      • Click ‘Save

      Before the photo album can appear on the website, it must be moderated by a Webmaster of the club.

      Tip: The maximum single file size should be no greater than 100MB. No album should be greater than 250 images. We accept the following file types: .jpg, .jpeg, .gif and .png.

      Unshare a photo album from a club

      Step-by-step guide:

      • Login to Pitchero
      • Click your profile image in the top right corner of the screen
      • Click 'Settings' in the side-bar
      • Click 'Videos & Photos'
      • Click on the album name
      • In the sharing section, click 'Delete'
      • Click 'Save'

      Editing a photo album

      Step-by-step guide:

      • Login to Pitchero
      • Click your profile image in the top right corner of the screen
      • Click 'Settings' in the side-bar
      • Click 'Videos & Photos' from the top menu
      • Click on the album name
      • On the photo album page, you can:
        • Change the album name
        • Change the sorting of the photos in the album
        • Change where the album is shared
        • Enter captions on individual photos
      • Click 'Save'

      You can also set a cover photo for the album which becomes the thumbnail for the album on the website.

      This is commonly used for photo albums containing photos of children shared privately on the website.


      Remove a photo album from my account

      Step-by-step guide:

      • Login to Pitchero
      • Click your profile image in the top right corner of the screen
      • Click 'Settings' in the side-bar
      • Click 'Videos & Photos' from the top menu
      • Click on the album name
      • Click 'Delete album'
      • In the overlay, click 'OK'
      Once an album has been deleted, it cannot be restored to your club’s website.

      Troubleshooting

      This section covers common troubleshooting queries:

      • Unable to upload an image(s) to my Pitchero account
        • First, we would advise that you check if the issue is local to your browser, device, or network connection. Things that you can try:
          • Browser - log out of your account and log back in, close the page and reopen it, close the browsing window and open a new one, check for any browser updates, clear the cookies, cache and history in your browser, try a different browser (e.g. if you're using Edge, try using Chrome).
          • Device - Restart/turn off your device and turn is back on, check for any software updates on the device, try using a different device (e.g. if you're using a work computer, try using your personal laptop, tablet or phone)
          • Network connection - restart your router, try using a different network connection (e.g. if you're at work, try using the same device but on your home wifi, or hotspot using your mobile data)
      • Images I've uploaded not showing on the club's/league's website
        • Once you have uploaded the images to an album in your account, the album can be shared with a Pitchero Club and/or League website. The album will then require moderation by the club/league before the content can show on their Pitchero website.
