Overview
Custom Sections is great for the club's miscellaneous and static content, e.g. about the club, history, and honours. Other content ideas include broadcasting facilities, advertisements or sponsorships and commercial compliance.
Custom Section articles can be accessed by any visitor on the website via the Information section.
Custom Sections are managed by Webmasters with full access to the Site Content area of the club admin dashboard.
Create a custom section with a single page
Step-by-step guide:
- Go to your club admin dashboard
- Click ‘Site Content’ from the left-hand menu, then click 'Custom Sections’ from the sub-menu
- Click ‘Add Section‘
- Click 'Single Page’
- Enter the content (title and body of content)
- Click ‘Save’
Top Tips:
- Adding a featured image to a custom section article page is optional but recommended. An image thumbnail for the each custom section shows on the Club Information landing page. See the example below.

Create a custom section with multiple pages
Multi-page sections allow more than one page to be displayed in a section. Each page will appear as an item on the navigation and can include an image and/or document.
Step-by-step guide:
- Go to your club admin dashboard
- Click ‘Site Content’ from the left-hand menu then click 'Custom Sections from the sub-menu
- Click ‘Add Section'
- Click 'Multi Page’
- Enter the section title
- Click ‘+Add Page’
- Enter the title and content body
- Click ‘Save’ to save the page
- Repeat for any other pages within the multi-page custom section
- Click 'Save' to save the section
To delete a page from a multi-page custom section, click on the page, then click 'Delete Page'.
Remove a custom section from the website
Step-by-step guide:
- Go to your club admin dashboard
- Click ‘Site Content’ from the left-hand menu, then click 'Custom Sections' from the sub-menu
- Locate the section you wish to delete
- Hover over the Go to the spanner icon
- Click ‘Delete Section’
- If you wish to continue, click 'OK'
Please Note:
Once removed, a custom section cannot be retrieved.
