This article explains how you can transfer your domain name away from Pitchero.
Overview
We're sorry to hear if your club wishes to transfer the domain name away from Pitchero. Once transferred, the club will become responsible for managing:
- The registration and renewal of the domain name
- The domain configuration settings
- The mailbox and forwarder settings
- The SSL certificate
Starting the transfer
To request your club's domain name to be transferred away from Pitchero, please email support@pitchero.com, providing the following details:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Club name
- The domain you wish to transfer (e.g. clubname.co.uk)
- The reason(s) why you wish to transfer the domain name away from Pitchero
An administration fee of £30 is required for the transfer of the domain name. An invoice will be sent via email to complete payment of the administration fee.
If the domain name has been registered or transferred to Pitchero within the last 60 days, we may not be able to proceed with the transfer of the domain name until registration/transfer lock has passed.
Domains ending in .uk
To transfer a .uk domain name, we require the IPS Tag of the new registrar.
A member of the Support Team will request this information once the payment for the administration fee has been confirmed.
Once transferred away from Pitchero, Pitchero has no access or control of the domain name.
Other Domains
To transfer a non .uk domain name, you will need a domain transfer authorisation code in order to transfer and registrar the domain name with the new registrar.

Once transferred away from Pitchero, Pitchero has no access or control of the domain name.
