Overview

For payments collected by the club from members on Pitchero, a transaction fee is deducted from the amount collected. The final transaction fee is based on multiple factors:

  • The club's charity status
  • The club's VAT status
  • The club's website package; Standard or Pro
  • The payment provider; Stripe Connect Express or GoCardless

Transaction fees

Prices effective 1st June 2025

Option A

  • The club is a charity and is VAT registered

 VAT is removed from all fees. GoCardless offer lower fees to charities. GoCardless' fee is capped at £3.
Credit and Debit Card payments Stripe Connect Express 1.84% + 17p 2.42% +17p VAT is removed from all fees. Stripe offers no discount to charities.

Fees are ex VAT, as a VAT registered club will reclaim the VAT on payment processing fees.

Option B

  • The club is a charity but is not VAT registered

Fees include VAT, clubs not registered for VAT cannot claim VAT on payment processing fees.

Option C

  • The club is VAT registered but is not a charity
