If you have a domain name hosted elsewhere which you wish to map to your Pitchero website that's no problem.
Firstly, you'll need to set up a CNAME record attached to your domain name.
To fully map your custom domain:
- Access the Advanced DNS settings within your domain registrar's control panel. (A domain name registrar is a company that manages the purchase of domain names.)
- Create a CNAME record for the 'www' part of your domain pointing to cname.pitchero.com.
- After waiting 24 hours for your changes to take effect, you can attach the domain to your Pitchero website via the settings section of your club control panel.
To map your custom domain name to your Pitchero website, access your club control panel, click the Settings tab and then select Domain name.
Click Use My Existing Domain.
From there, paste in your existing domain name and click 'Save' in green.
Once this process has been completed you must then install an SSL Certificate for your domain. Please see this help article.
Please bear in mind that if you host your domain name elsewhere, you won't be able to register the email accounts feature with either the Elite or Ultimate packages.
In order to make use of the email accounts feature, you'll need to make any enquiry with our Support team about getting your domain transferred away from your current registrar and into our records.
