Have a Calender/Planner embedded for various club activities

On a previous clubs website we had google calender embeded that allowed managers/administrators of the various clubs activities to input events/private functions etc thus everyone visiting the site had could have a month by month lookahead of what was going on. This also included a enquiry/ideas form to post to relevant managers for example avalabilty of volunteers/catering requirements/Clubhouse booking enqiries for any given weekend. This seemed an effective way to provide management/communication of all the clubs business. Could this be considered?

We now have a calendar view of all club events and fixtures.

Please see the following articles which illustrate how to subscribe to the calendar via Outlook and iPhone:

We have also now launched functionality for recurring calendar events:

We have also resorted to a Google calendar as the current Pitchero built in one simply doesn't cut the mustard.

You can't edit entries that are auto generated from FA Full-Time, change KO times without going in to each individual FA Full-Time league page or add recurring events.

I would much rather use the built in calendar, adding referee and pitch number details, but it simply doesn't work for me at the moment.

I like this idea. We've added a link to our Google Calendar but it would be better to have an embedded one which automatically picked up any fixtures and showed them in the calendar rather than having to rekey them again.
