I suggest you ...

Allow a text box on each of the section homepages (Senior, Junior, Mini & Ladies)

This text box on the section homepages would let you write something about the section of the club (give a brief overall description) i.e. in minis & juniors the age group categories (with birthday dates).

Ideally this text box would appear above where the current activity feeds are shown.

    We'd really like this feature to be able to help us tell parents of prospective young players about the capabilities of the club and the nature of the game at each age group....please, please, please can we have this asap????

    Added to this as well as a text section for each 'homepage' (Senior, Junior, Mini & Ladies). This would also include text box area on the main homepage that we could use for whatever we need/want.

    It would be good to have a better URL link name so that we can re-direct the correct traffic to the right areas. Juniors section is a good example of this where we want to give parents the full URL or/and links from schools etc.

    Example currently you have just a single letter as the url abbreviation, so ends up looking like this;

    The backslash / at the end of the j being important for some reason (should not need it IMHO)! It would be better still if it was a proper URL link based on the friendly name (and take into account 'Translations' so junior=juniors and seniors=mens etc) ie. the link we would like is something like this;
    Same with Ladies, Mens or any pages we create actaully.
    should be

    And probably more importantly the SHOP part as we want to promote people to buy things from or via the shop page (or at least a landing page for this). The /d is even more obscure for people to remember.

    The upshot is we want to use the site more but the key it to get people using it more that this will help us and many other club promote their sections and areas.

    Anybody else think that on the pages of teams there should be a place for a team photo? The photo on the players and coaches would remain the same, though

    This would be very useful indeed, allowing each section and then each team/ age group, to have a unique introduction.
