Pretty much a big surprise that...
a) This doesn't exist already
b) It's not been suggested already16 votes
Members can subscribe to the club calendar feed in ICS format. See our blog post for more information:
This would be helpful to allow main sponsors to get equal coverage9 votes
Primary sponsors now rotate on the homepage.
Can we have the ability to have downloadable attachments (pdf, doc etc) to News articles as well as the ability to add images please59 votes
Great News, you can now attach documents to club and team news items.
Pitchero did a great thing setting up the poll's that you can have on the front page but then hides it below the activity feed. we do not need this it adds nothing to the website if someone comes along and looks at the site why does he care what I did 21 days ago when I added a result.247 votes
This issue was addressed as part of the homepage upgrade
Trace Home and away results and remaining fixtures for other teams in the league by manually updating scores on a weekly basis.7 votes
This facility already exists for fixtures in our “competitions database”.
See the example for last years Evo Stik season on Wakefield’s website:
The results grid is automatically generated from the scores along with the league table etc we even provide a form guide!
On the old Get Satisfaction Support setup there was a very long thread about reducing the footprint or removing the Activity feed. As I recall the consensus seemed to be that the individuals photo should be removed. As no-one appears to have restarted this I've added it again.35 votes
The activity feed has been upgraded.
With so many leagues having bonus points its a real pain for the league admins to make sure points tally up. Given that it's the league admins who ensure that EVERY team in a league is correctly represented this feature would benefit every team on Pitchero whose league has a bonus point structure.13 votes
This is now available to all Division and League Admins, contact support if you need this facilty adding to your panel, or want a demo
It would be great to ensure that the player/coach/manager keeps their mobile number updated. This can then be imported into the existing player profile. This could be added to the teamsheet (so you can chase people if needs be just before a game) or contact the dinosaurs who cannot get to grips with Pitchero. Maybe a forerunner to the SMS as that has bene a long time coming.6 votes
This was completed some time ago.
For all clubs with SMS enabled, their members can click “Website Membership” and add their phone number.
Allow inclusion of scripts or widgets to support hit tracking and other similar features that would be possible in most standard content management systems.12 votes
Hi Guys, Google Analytics is already available as part of our “Club Creative” package. You will need to enable your external domain name and then just add your Google Analytics ID to the control panel.
This would be good for emphasizing parts of the text. If we could change the colour of some text as well that might be good.33 votes
We have now implemented BBCode accross all our content management systems…. pages, news, events, match reports and forum posts.
You can now format your text, add your own links, include images and add tables etc
We now have the facility to copy & paste from Excel, as well as preview your content.
Clubs usually have more than 3 sponsors. I suggest that an area be created so that the club can add a link page to reward their sponsors through as many links as deemed by the club. This would attract possibly more sponsorship on the webpages and help generate further revenue for the clubs creating a more flexible approach to the club website. This is a feature usually required when a club runs its own website. This should then help Pitchero attract more clubs as opposed to running their own site.8 votes
i suggest that the player migration tool need extending to cover team coaches and team admins. Currently the migration tool will only allow Team Players and Parents to be moved. However, with most Junior Teams, the parents/coaches and subsequently Team Admins normally follow/step up with the age groups. i beleive there is a definate need to extend the Player Migration Tool to include Coaches and Team Admins46 votes
We’ve now added a tool to the membership database which makes it easier to migrate players!
Currently you have to edit each member individually. This makes end of season edits incredibly tedious. Make a page where it lists every member with tick boxes next to their names representing the different membership levels (mass editting).52 votes
We’ve now added a tool to the membership database that allows you to edit member roles in bulk!
player recruitment is dependent upon contact and it is useful to have team level contacts showing their contact details. Allow coaches/team admins to personally decide if their details are displayed11 votes
Admins can now choose which contact details are displayed on the team information pages.
Go to the Team Information section of your control panel for the teams you want to edit the contacts for.
Any problems, please email firstname.lastname@example.org
Not all fixtures are held at a home ground they may be in a park or different venue from usual The venue is important to include in teh details of the match along with KO time71 votes
Locations can now be set when adding a new feature. In addition all locations can now easily be added or edited on the “Fixtures & Results” page.
If a twitter account was able to be attached then updates could be co-ordinated from the twitter site and allows a live update to club news where players and supporters could add their own comments.99 votes
This has now been added: http://blog.pitchero.com/2011/11/30/twitter-is-here/
