  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

  1. Rugby First / NGB integration

To attain the RFU's whole club seal of approval, you need to enter all your players data into rugby first and get them signed onto that. As a lot of that is duplicated effort of what has to be done for this website... could you either:

Come to an agreement with the RFU so that registering on your site, also registers you with Rugby First? (Would certainly give more clubs an incentive to join your site)

    or

Have an exportable spreadsheet that is populated with our members details, that also has fields for the extra details needed by rugby first…

You can now add custom fields which match those required by Rugby First (or any other NGB system). You can also export your entire membership database to a .csv file.

Please email support@pitchero.com if you need help with specific requirements / scenarios.

We are always interested in working with National Governing Bodies, unfortunately this is not always possible.

  2. Individual Cricket Player Statistics

I would like to go to the statistics page and select a player to view his individual player stats. Obvious example is the current play cricket platform with shows details stats of a player over the last x years.

Big omission in book, especially for cricket.

Individual player stats for cricket players are now available under the player profile within the team section.

  3. Global feature where clubs could share free dates for friendly fixtures

One of the biggest problems to fixture secretaries is arranging fixtures so why not have a global facility where you can post free dates. I could then by using filters select by date, month or even distance from my location

  4. Site Traffic Stats

Allow Site Admins to be able to see views (hits) for individual pages, articles, forum posts etc. to monitor what are the most popular sections of their website. This could be available under the statistics which presently only shows site traffic stats for the whole of the site.

Stats on individual pages are now available under Social & Insights within Performance in the Club Control Panel.

Breakdown stats are available to clubs with the Bundle Package. Alternatively clubs with the Creative Package and a custom domain can use Google Analytics.

  5. Allow the look of the newsletter to be altered. At least to add the club badge.

Just to make the club newsletter easier on the eye so more will look at it.

    Hi guys,
Just going through some older feature requests and just thought I would give you an update.

Clubs on the Standard or Pro Package can add their own header to Weekly Roundup e-mails and filter what type of content is sent out.

If you come across any problems, please don’t hesitate to e-mail support@pitchero.com.

    Thanks,
    Joe

  6. Printing Function

Would it be possible to add a print function to the fixtures section?

The majority of public facing pages have been updated to be “print friendly” straight from your browser.

i.e. pressing print, should offer a neat printable version of the page.

If this is not the case for a specific public facing page on your site, please email support@pitchero.com

  7. Create a merge player stats function

Webmasters sometimes add stats to duplicate accounts and there is currently no way to amend this.

This has been completed. See WCP > Team Information > Merge Players (top right hand corner). Please email support@pitchero.com if you have any questions or problems.

  8. Improve the team selection page, add starting line ups and subs

When i add players i want to show who is starting and who is a sub, also in their respective positions. I don't seem to be able to do this?

  9. Improve the lineup page giving a more professional look and make it printable

Improve the lineup page giving a more professional look and make it printable.
The current lineup page is not very appealing and it would be good if it could be more appealing like the ones shown on TV before matches which are showing the format on the screen. Use player pictures or just little icons and player name with role.

This could be for soccer but it's also applicable to any other sports

  10. Make the term 'Kick Off' translateable. Kick off is not a valid term for Netball.

Make the term 'Kick Off' translateable. Kick off is not a valid term for Netball. That is add 'kick off' as one of the translatable items at WCP-Content-Translations.

  11. Allow the home / away teams to be identified manually for friendly / cup fixtures

Sometimes the system publishes the next match as home, even though it was entered as away. Nothing seems possible to change it.
    Help!

    Hi Richard,

This has been completed. You can now manually set whether you are home or away from the “edit fixture” screen.

WCP > Team Information > Fixtures & Results > Edit Icon

  12. Create/ enable shared calenders. (iCal etc)

Would it be possible to enable the use of shared calendars (e.g. iCal)that users can subscribe to on their mobile devices / PCs in order to get the fixtures/ results of a particular team. E.g. Calendar of 1st XV fixtures [and results once updated] would be available on mobile phone calendars once user has subscribed to that calendar.

This could also be applied to club events.

Any adjusts to a teams fixtures / results or new events update the online calendar and in turn the users calendar on their mobile device.

6 nations Rubgy fixtures are currently available via subscribed…

  13. Allow wider access to the Communications Control Panel for emailing Parents and Players

Team Admins and Coaches regularly need to email players / parents and other coaches yet the Communications part of the control panel is restricted to Webmasters only. It would make communication more effective if teams could be utilise this feature.

  14. League Websites: Add 'Cups' to the Match Info tab to include details of external cup competitions

Currently all cup fixtures & results are joined in with the league details. Having a separate cup draw page, teams can follow their progress in the cups and information is easy to find.

  16. make the homepage images clickable links

Having created a number of images to fit into the homepage images slot, if they were clickable links I could as people to click for more info and direct them to the relevant pages. This is premium space on the website and we intend to use it as much for advertising as for images of rugby action.

  18. Surname order sorting.

It would be better if members names were in Surname order not Forename order as most of us are used to that I think.

Members within the membership database can now be sorted by any column.

  19. Move the Poll

The Poll should be moved to the top of the page where its is more accesible to viewers. Also maybe add a latest news ticker running along the top of the page similar to the non league one.

  20. Remove Game Event Mins

    Hi,

It is not always possible to enter minutes against player events, most of the time its a guess or inaccurate.

If we dont enter minutes then we cannot save the events.

Can we make it so this field does not require input and can be left blank if required?

    Best Regards,

    Chad Brindley

    This has now been completed.
Minute boxes can now be left empty if not known.
Please add the minute if you know it.
    Thanks,
    PH
